1. Introduction

E Switch Pro is a smart switch control application and connected service provided by Ultimate AI Technologies Private Limited, India ("UAIT", "we", "us", or "our").

This Privacy Policy explains what information E Switch Pro processes, why it is processed, how it may be shared, how long it may be retained, and the choices available to users.

2. Information We Process

Depending on the features you use, E Switch Pro may process:

• Name, email address, phone number, account identifiers, role, and authentication/security information.
• Password recovery information, recovery-key status, recovery challenges, and trusted-device recovery approvals.
• Home/property names, groups, helper-sharing relationships, permissions, switch names, schedules, timers, and automation configuration.
• E Switch Pro module identifiers, MAC addresses or other device identifiers, channel information, connectivity status, relay ON/OFF state, and hardware configuration.
• Operational and activity logs used for device history, troubleshooting, security, and service reliability.
• Information required to connect optional services such as Google Home and Amazon Alexa.
• Selected switch information and cached state used by supported Android home-screen widgets.

3. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Provisioning

E Switch Pro uses Bluetooth to discover and configure compatible E Switch Pro hardware. Bluetooth permissions are used for nearby-device discovery and communication with selected modules.

When you provision or update a module, you may choose a Wi-Fi network and enter its Wi-Fi password. The app transmits those credentials locally to the selected E Switch Pro hardware over Bluetooth so the hardware can connect to that network. E Switch Pro does not intentionally use Wi-Fi credentials for advertising or marketing purposes.

Depending on Android version, the operating system may require nearby-device or location-related permissions for Bluetooth discovery. E Switch Pro uses these permissions only as necessary for device provisioning and compatible-device discovery.

4. Connected Hardware and Cloud Communication

E Switch Pro uses secure cloud APIs and MQTT-based device communication to provide remote control, state synchronization, schedules, device connectivity, and related smart-switch functions. Information such as module identifiers, switch state, connectivity, schedules, and commands may be transmitted through UAIT-operated or contracted infrastructure.

5. Google Home

If you connect Google Home, E Switch Pro may share the information required to expose only the switches you enable for that integration, including device names, integration identifiers, online/offline status, and ON/OFF state.

6. Amazon Alexa

If you connect Amazon Alexa, E Switch Pro may share the information required to expose only the switches you enable for Alexa, including device names, integration identifiers, online/offline status, and ON/OFF state.

E Switch Pro does not receive or store your Amazon account password. You can disconnect Alexa from supported E Switch Pro settings or the applicable Amazon/Alexa account controls.

7. Helpers and Shared Access

Home Owners can choose to share access with Helpers. A Helper can access only the Homes and switches granted to that Helper according to the permissions configured by the Owner. Full Helper access does not make a Helper the Owner of a Home or hardware.

8. Android Home-Screen Widgets

On supported Android devices, E Switch Pro can provide an optional home-screen widget for quick ON/OFF control. The widget may store selected switch identifiers, names, cached state, and authentication information in app-controlled device storage so the widget can operate without opening the full app. Access remains subject to server-side account and switch permissions.

9. How We Use Information

• Authenticate users, protect accounts, and provide password recovery.
• Provision, identify, control, monitor, and troubleshoot compatible hardware.
• Provide Homes, switches, schedules, timers, helpers, activity history, and related app features.
• Provide optional Google Home and Amazon Alexa integrations.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose faults, and improve reliability.
• Respond to customer support, privacy, and account-deletion requests.
• Meet applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

10. Sharing of Information

Ultimate AI Technologies Private Limited does not sell personal information.

Information may be processed by service, hosting, infrastructure, communication, and integration providers only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, or maintain E Switch Pro. Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law or legal process, or where reasonably necessary to protect users, systems, property, or legal rights.

11. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide E Switch Pro, maintain security and operational records, resolve disputes, comply with applicable law, enforce agreements, or complete account and data-deletion requests.

Operational logs may have separate retention periods based on system configuration, security, troubleshooting, and legal requirements.

12. Account and Data Deletion

You can initiate account deletion inside E Switch Pro from Settings → Privacy & Account Data → Account Deletion.

If the account does not own deployed Homes or hardware, eligible account data can be deleted immediately after required identity confirmation.

If the account still owns deployed E Switch Pro Homes or modules, the deletion request is recorded as pending while ownership is safely resolved. This prevents physical hardware from being orphaned. Once ownership has been transferred or otherwise resolved, the user can complete deletion in the app. UAIT support can also assist with a verified pending request.

Certain limited records may be retained when required by law, security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, or other legitimate legal obligations. Any such retention will be limited to what is required.

13. Your Privacy Choices

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or information about how it is processed. You may also disconnect optional integrations and remove Helper access through supported app controls.

14. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect E Switch Pro accounts, connected devices, and stored information. No online or connected-device system can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting their credentials, recovery information, devices, and local networks.

15. Children's Privacy

E Switch Pro is intended for people legally capable of managing connected electrical and smart-home devices and is not directed to children.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in E Switch Pro, connected services, legal requirements, or security practices. The "Last updated" date will identify the current version.

17. Informal Resolution and Jurisdiction

If a concern or dispute arises regarding E Switch Pro or this Privacy Policy, please first contact UAIT at admin@uait.in so that both sides can make a good-faith effort to resolve the matter informally. If the matter cannot be resolved through discussion, then, subject to applicable mandatory law and consumer rights, the dispute may be brought before the courts having competent jurisdiction over Danta, Gujarat, India.
